Jillian Bretz is based in Wilmington, NC, this trauma-informed and inclusive birth doula is passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. A mother of four, she brings her nurturing spirit to both her personal life and professional work. When she’s not attending a birth or discussing the power of childbirth, you can find her outdoors with her children, practicing yoga, enjoying tea, or exploring nature. She finds peace in the beach at sunrise, prefers cooler weather, and is always seeking her next adventure.

Certified as both a Birth and Postpartum Doula through Birth Arts International, she also holds qualifications as a Midwife Assistant, WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, and has completed specialized training in areas such as Spinning Babies, VBAC Link Advanced Doula Training, and Reiki for Birthworkers. A firm advocate of informed consent, she fully supports families' choices throughout their pregnancy journey. Her additional expertise includes birth debriefing, pelvic dynamics for efficient births, and trauma prevention in the birth room. She is mentored by Amanda Bacon of Bits o' Bacon Photography and takes pride in continuously learning to provide the best care for her clients.
