Siobhan Colgan, MPH, PhD, LCSW, brings a wealth of experience to her therapy practice, with a diverse background in education, special education, maternal and perinatal health, family engagement, and early childhood development. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Social Work, a Master’s in Maternal and Child Health, and a Doctorate in Early Childhood Education. After decades working at the program and policy level, Siobhan returned to her passion for working directly with individuals, children, and families, starting her private practice in 2021.
Her therapeutic approach includes interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and play-based and arts-based therapies for both children and adults. Siobhan is also trained in perinatal and maternal mental health (PMH-C) and is currently pursuing training in mindfulness and yoga interventions.
