Gabe Lazarus, CD, CPD, HCHD, is a Chapel Hill-based holistic birth educator and doula. She brings a unique combination of nurturing, empathy, and connection to her role, where she supports families through life's powerful transitions. As a single mom, homeschool parent, gardener, healer, and artist, Gabe has always been drawn to cultivating growth in both personal and professional realms.

Her background in Environmental Studies/Education from both undergraduate and graduate studies has deeply influenced her lifestyle, fostering a close connection to nature. This affinity for natural rhythms is reflected in her holistic approach to birth and postpartum care.

With extensive training and certifications, Gabe is a Certified Holistic Birth Doula, DONA-trained Birth Doula, Hypnobabies® Hypno-Doula, and Certified Holistic Postpartum Doula. She is also a Certified Reiki Practitioner and has specialized training in Bengkung Belly Binding, Rebozo (Gena Kirby Method), acupressure for pregnancy and birth, and using TENS units during labor. Additionally, she holds advanced skills in breastfeeding support, has been OR-trained at UNC-Chapel Hill, and is experienced in holding space for pregnancy loss and supporting survivors in birth.
