Meet Dr. Rachel Selman, DPT, CSCS, CPSS – Expert in Sports Performance & Postpartum Rehab
Dr. Rachel Selman is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS), and Certified Performance and Sport Scientist (CPSS) who blends science, strength, and personal experience to help athletes thrive—especially postpartum athletes.
A graduate of Georgia Tech (B.S. in Chemistry) and Mercer University (DPT), Rachel has advanced training in dry needling, pelvic health (via Herman & Wallace), Olympic weightlifting, HIIT, and rehab for chronic pain and injury. As a mother of two and a passionate athlete herself, she’s made it her mission to prove that athleticism and motherhood are not mutually exclusive.
Rachel has completed 100+ hours of continuing education specific to running, and she's the lead author of the first-ever peer-reviewed rehab protocol for pregnant and postpartum athletes, published in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy.
